Content Policy

This Content Policy applies to all stories, chapters, cover images, comments, and other material published on Mneme by any author, including third-party authors invited or registered on the platform. It exists to keep Mneme a safe, legal, and sustainable space for storytelling.

Content We Welcome

Mneme welcomes original fiction in most genres — including romance, drama, action, slice of life, and thriller — as well as fan-inspired alternate universe (AU) stories, provided they follow the rules below.

Ownership & Copyright

• Only upload content you wrote yourself, or that you have explicit permission to publish.
• Do not upload another author’s work, translations, or adaptations without permission and proper credit.
• Alternate universe (AU) or fan-inspired stories must be your own original writing; do not copy dialogue, chapters, or substantial passages from someone else’s published work.
• If you believe your copyrighted work has been published on Mneme without permission, contact us using the details in the Contact section below, including a description of the work and its original source, and we will review and, where appropriate, remove the content.

Strictly Prohibited Content

The following is never allowed on Mneme, without exception:

• Any content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors, in any form, fictional or otherwise.
• Content that promotes terrorism, violent extremism, or real-world hate against individuals or groups.
• Content that harasses, doxxes, or incites violence against a real, identifiable person.
• Instructions that facilitate serious harm, such as weapons creation or illegal drug production.
• Non-consensual sexual content presented as acceptable or desirable.
• Spam, scams, phishing links, or malicious code.

Mature Themes

Stories may explore mature themes (violence, trauma, complex relationships, moderate romantic/sexual content between adult fictional characters) as part of a genuine narrative, provided such content complies with the strictly prohibited list above and is not the sole purpose of the work. We may require content warnings or age-appropriate tagging for such stories.

Moderation & Enforcement

We may review, tag, restrict, or remove content that violates this Content Policy, and may suspend or terminate the accounts of authors who repeatedly or seriously violate it. Where required by law, we may also disclose information to relevant authorities.
